How to Cook the Best Chicken Wings on the Planet

There are several ways to cook chicken wings. The original preparation was to deep fry the wing. Many people add flour and spices and then deep fry the wing, while others bake and some barbeque the wings. We are going to discuss the variations and techniques to make the perfect wing. The first wings or "buffalo" wing was first served at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York in 1964. Since then hot wings have become an icon. There are literally thousands of recipes from traditional cayenne pepper and every flavor of ethnic variation in between.

We love to bake and grill our chicken wings. Baking and grilling the wings is the preferred technique if you are concerned with calories. We bake them first to keep the juices in the meat and then grill them to give them the flavor and crispness hot wing lovers adore. To get the perfect juicy wing buy a roasting pan. Place the wings in the roasting pan; preheat the oven to 400 degrees. After oven is warmed to 400 degrees place wings in oven. Thawed wings should be cooked in roasting pan for 45 minutes, if the wings are frozen 80 minutes should do. After the allotted time place the wings on the grill on medium heat, turning them every few minutes, cook until golden brown and crisp. Place the cooked wings in a pan or container with a lid, pour the sauce all over the wings, place the lid on the container and shake the wings in the sauce. Place the sauced wings back on the grill for a few more minutes and serve. Make sure that your wings are cooked all the way through, undercooked chicken is very dangerous. There should be no pink inside the wings and any juices should run clear.

\"chicken Wing\"

If you are the deep fry hot wing fan it is easy to prepare the perfect wing. Heat peanut or canola oil to 350 degrees. Use only thawed wings, pat them dry. You can season the wings will kosher salt and cracked pepper. In a bowl mix 1 cup of flour and paprika, dredge the wings in the flour mixture and place them in the fryer for 12 minutes. After the wings are cooked place on a paper towel to drain the oil. Place the cooked wings in a bowl or container with a lid, pour sauce over the wings and shake the wings into the sauce. Serve the wings hot, you can add carrot or celery sticks and or blue cheese or ranch dressing as a side dish.

Cooking wings for your friends and family can be fun and rewarding. It is important to note that not everyone has the same taste and liking. That is why it may be important to have a mild, medium and hot sauce for the wings. Providing all temperatures of sauces will impress your guests and render you the king or queen of the chicken wing revolution!

Home-Made Chicken Nuggets Recipe

Why should anyone bother to make their own Chicken Nuggets, when they can buy them conveniently ready made? Even ready cooked as a fast food take-away. Well, chicken is usually a meat that most kids will eat and for some reason a coating of breadcrumbs makes it even more appealing. If you are concerned with what goes into processed and ready packaged food in the way of preservatives and additives though, you might like to produce your own chicken nuggets for those occasions when your children demand comfort food. These home-made chicken nuggets taste much nicer than bought ones and you know exactly what's in them - that there are no unwanted preservatives, that it really is chicken, if you have a source of affordable organic chicken you can use that and they will also be really fresh.

The preparation time isn't that long, about ten minutes, but the chicken nuggets cook crispier if they have a little drying time in the fridge before frying (yes I did say frying, let's live dangerously on one dietary front!) so the first stage can be done up to two hours before cooking, when you have ten minutes to spare. After that the cooking time is very quick. The quality of the breadcrumbs does make a difference. Fresh, slightly dry, crumbs are definitely better than those powdery packets of 'golden' crumbs that you can buy. On the occasions when I'm being a zealous and organised mother, I whizz up stale (but not mouldy) white bread in the food processor and keep a freezer bag full in the freezer. Hopefully that will last until the next bout of housewifeliness hits me. If you don't have a ready prepared stash of crumbs, whizz up a white roll from the freezer to make crumbs and spread them on a plate to dry slightly.

Chicken Nuggets Recipe

450g/1lb Chicken breast fillets

30g/1oz plain flour

¼ teaspoon Chicken spice mix (optional or substitute your favourite spice)

¼ teaspoon salt

1 egg

3-4 handfuls of breadcrumbs

These quantities are a rough guide, increase or reduce them according to how much chicken you want to cook.

Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces. Get four bowls or plates. The first for the sieved flour with mixed in a pinch of chicken spice, salt and pepper. The second for the egg, beaten with a pinch of salt and half a tablespoon water or vegetable oil. The third for the breadcrumbs. The last is to put the finished nuggets on.

Dip each piece of chicken, first in the flour mix so it is coated, shake off any excess. Next into the egg and lastly roll it in the breadcrumbs before laying it on the plate to dry. As you work through all the pieces your fingers will get a thick coating on too, resembling chicken nuggets themselves. When all the chicken pieces are coated put the plate uncovered in the fridge to dry and crisp up a bit. This can be for as little as ten minutes but an hour or two is better.
To cook, heat up approx 3 tablespoons sunflower / vegetable oil in a wide frying pan. When hot add as many nuggets as will fit without crowding. Turn when golden on one side. When all sides are cooked remove onto kitchen paper to drain off some oil. As soon as they are all cooked serve while hot.

You could do the same thing with strips of fish to make your own fish fingers and gain the supermom of the year award! Having said that you do need to have something ready-made as a standby in the freezer for those days when cooking supper is too much and bought fish fingers have that slot in our house.

How Long Do You Bake Chicken Leg Quarters?

Chicken leg quarters are a great cut of chicken having a slightly more moist and succulent area of meat than the breast meat. But just how long to you bake chicken leg quarters for?

Given the legs have a much smaller surface area to cook once detached from the whole chicken, the cooking time is drastically reduced. For an average sized pair of chicken legs you will expect to roast them for around 45 to 50 minutes in a hot oven around 220 degrees. Why not make up a home made chicken seasoning to coat your roast chicken legs and give them that extra spice?

\"roast Chicken\"

Below is one of my favourite chicken seasoning recipes which derives from a Creole/Cajun source and is quick, easy and in most cases you will have the ingredients within your spice cabinet. Simply make up a batch and keep it together in an airtight jar for later use.

Creole/Cajun Chicken Seasoning Mix

* Quarter of a cup of salt
* 3 Tablespoons of Garlic granules or powder
* 3 Tablespoons of black pepper - grind it fresh for maximum flavour
* Half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper (give it some more if you like, this is down to your preference)
* 1.5 Tablespoons of paprika

Simply place you chicken legs and a couple of table spoons of the spice in a plastic bag. Blow into the bag softly to inflate whilst closing thereby trapping the air inside like a balloon. Shake gently to fully coat your chicken legs thoroughly. Place on a baking tray and bake the chicken leg quarters as above until cooked through.

Party Ideas For Kids - Fun Finger Food

If you are planning a birthday party for your child, one of the most important considerations should be the food you plan on serving. After all what kid doesn't love to eat?

Finger foods are a great menu choice for kids of all ages. Many of the choices are quite low on the "messy scale," easy to make and just plain fun to eat! (Yes, even when you are preparing them.)You don't need a plate, fork, or spoon.

\"chicken Wing\"

You are really only limited by your creativity and your budget. Finger foods work best when they are 100% edible that means nothing to pick out or cut off. They include things like cheese and crackers, fruit and a variety of little sandwiches, just to name a few.

Cut the crusts off of white bread and spread with cream cheese and jelly. A combination of cream cheese and a thin slice of cucumber works well too. Cut in quarters.

Cut a small dinner roll in half. Remove some of the bread to make a hollow. Stuff the hollow with chicken, ham or tuna salad. Serve as a topless sandwich with the fillings showing.

Hollow out cherry tomatoes, salt lightly and place upside down on a paper towel to drain for a few minutes. Stuff with cottage cheese mixed with ranch dip.

Deviled eggs are easy and quick and most children like them.

Stuff celery stalks with peanut butter and raisins, spreadable cheese, or cream cheese then cut into bite size chunks.

Baby vegetables intrigue children. Serve baby patty pan squash, zucchini, string beans, and carrots with or without a dip. If you decide on a dip make it with cottage cheese whirled in a blender till smooth, that's a healthier choice than sour cream or mayonnaise.

Spread small tortillas with refried beans, grated cheese and a bit of mild salsa. Fold as for a burrito, tucking the ends in, then cut in half. These can be served at room temperature.

Crackers are available in almost every shape and flavor imaginable. Graham crackers are even fair game, in this case. Younger kids will appreciate those that are animal shaped, such as Teddy Grahams.

Pineapple chunks, apple slices, grapes or raisins, strawberries, banana chunks and peach slices all make great finger foods. Whether you serve them with or without some type of fruit dip, kids will love them.

Buy miniature hot dogs and serve with dips of ketchup, bbq sauce, and a mild honey mustard sauce. French fries are delicious with these sauces as well. Children love chicken wing drummets. Buy them prepared or make them yourself. If you buy them get the plain ones.

Keep portions tiny so little fingers can handle these fun finger food ideas.

Pasta Milano - A Delicious Macaroni Grill Favorite You Can Make at Home

I love to go to Romano's Macaroni Grill. From smell of the open fire grill as I open the front door to the sound of the singing waiters as I set down at my table, I love it all.

Unfortunately for me, on my very first visit I tried the Pasta Milano and fell so deeply in love with it that I have not been able to order anything else. I try. I really do. It all looks so good. From the brick-oven-cooked BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Penne Rustica to the Seafood Linguine, from the Chicken Portobello to the Honey Balsamic Chicken -- I am dying to try it all.

\"bbq Chicken\"

And I have every good intention to do so. I study the menu from top to bottom -- finally picking out Grilled Salmon or Chicken Marsala. I can already taste it.

But as soon as the waiter approaches -- Bam! I point to the Pasta Milano.

Oh well, at least I do always enjoy my dinner.

But recently I found something that should make my next trip a surprise to my friends. Copycat restaurant recipes are appearing all over the web and some of them are very good. One of the first ones I looked for was, of course, Pasta Milano. I found a recipe and started making the dish at home for myself. It is just as good at home as it is at Romano's (though I do miss the singing waiters).

Thanks to this copycat restaurant recipe my next trip to Romano's Macaroni Grill ought to follow a different script. I am now free to look over the wonderful menu and order one of the other dishes I have so often craved. I can hardly wait!

Should I get Chicken & Shrimp Scaloppine or Honey Balsamic Chicken or Sicilian Pizza...or...

Filipino Food Rice Toppings

Rice has always been the staple food in Filipino cuisine, but until recently, plain and fried were the only varieties we knew. It was only a few years ago that we started playing around with rice recipes such as java, garlic, chili, and Chinese. But what seems to be a hit among Filipinos is rice toppings, wherein meat and vegetable dishes are served on top of a box of rice. It's the same old Filipino food, but packed in a light, convenient way. You've probably seen them in malls, sidewalks, and school cafeterias.

But although they come in handy on busy days, they're often overpriced, especially considering that you can do them yourself at home. That's right-you don't have to run to the mall whenever you're craving. What's more, there are no long lines and you can mix and match toppings as you please. Here are some Filipino food recipes that make excellent rice toppings.

\"chicken Curry\"

Chicken Curry

It's more Indian than Filipino, but it fits in perfectly with other Filipino cooking recipes. Curry blends well with rice because of its strong flavors. Use it on plain white rice-flavored varieties will wash out the taste of the curry.

3 cups chicken meat, diced

1 cup chicken broth

2 tbsp curry powder

1 small onion, chopped

½ tsp powdered ginger

¾ cup flour

¾ cup butter

2 ½ cups milk

garlic to taste

Procedure: In, melt the butter and sauté the ginger, garlic, onion, and curry powder. Set on low heat and let stand for about 1 minute. Add in the broth and milk and stir until the soup is thick. Stir in the chicken and cook until the chicken is done. Serve over white rice.

Stir-fried Beef Teriyaki

Filipinos love teriyaki dishes because of their distinct Asian flavor. They make excellent rice toppings because they're easy to cook and personalize-you can make them all-meat, all-veggie, or a mix of the two like most Filipino recipes. This recipe can be prepared in advance, perfect for those hectic weekdays.

½ kg beef round, cut into strips

3 tbsps teriyaki sauce

2 tsps cornstarch

2 bell peppers, cut into strips

6 spring onions, thinly sliced

4 tsps vegetable oil

Procedure: In a bowl, mix together the cornstarch, teriyaki sauce, and half of the vegetable oil. Stir in the beef and refrigerate for about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, stir-fry the onions and bell peppers in the remaining oil for about 3 minutes. Remove from the pan, then stir-fry the marinated beef for another 3 minutes. Stir in the vegetables and cook until the beef is done.

Honey Lemon Chicken

This tasty topping provides a good contrast to wild and flavored rice, especially the Chinese and garlic varieties. It also goes well with cold Filipino desserts recipes and salads. The dish is fairly easy to prepare; you can have it ready in less than 30 minutes.

4 pcs skinless chicken breasts, chopped

1/3 cup honey

¼ cup lemon juice

¼ cup butter, melted

2 tbsp hot water

1 tsp seasoning

Procedure: Preheat oven to 325oF. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish with the bone side facing down. Sprinkle with seasoning. Set aside. Mix the honey and hot water, then add the butter and lemon juice. Pour over the chicken breasts and cover with foil. Bake until the chicken is just done. Remove the cover and baste with the remaining sauce. Continue cooking until the chicken is browned, basting occasionally to add flavor.

Sweet and Sour Pork

A favorite viand among Filipinos, sweet and sour pork is a perfect complement to almost any rice variety. It's great for kids as it offers a nice blend of flavors and a balance of meat and vegetables.

¾ kg pork loin, deboned and sliced into bite-size pieces

2 ½ c pineapple chunks (reserve juice)

1 tbsp soy sauce

¼ c vinegar

¼ c packed brown sugar

½ c onion slices

1 pc green onion, thinly sliced

2 tbsp cornstarch

½ tsp salt

¾ c water

Procedure: sauté the pork in vegetable oil until it turns light brown. In a bowl, combine the water, pineapple juice, soy sauce, vinegar, salt and sugar. Mix until well dissolved. Pour over the pork andlet it simmer until the meat is soft. Dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water, then add to the pork. Turn down the heat and continue stirring until the mixture thickens. Stir in the pineapple chunks, pepper and onions. Simmer for another 10 minutes, then serve over rice.

The Importance Of Feedback In Communication

Communication plays a very crucial role in an organization. In fact, communication is the reason for human existence. There are different forms of communication through which the intentions of people and animals and even plants alike can be passed across to another. Without communication, life will be very difficult and in fact, it will be full of chaos.

Feedback makes communication meaningful. It is the end-result of an idea and makes communication continuous. In the process of communication, the originator first gets the idea to be passed across and then think of how to get it across via appropriate channel or medium. After the coding and dissemination, one expects the decoder after receiving the information or idea to give response. The response thus given is called the response which may be verbal or non-verbal, that is, in words or mere smile, glance, clap, etc.

\"chicken Soup\"

While feedback could be instantaneous as in the case of verbal conversation between two people standing or on telephone conversation or internet instant message, it could be delayed for sometime before the response is given to allow the receiver to think and take his time to consider what he is given. While the former is common to an informal communication, the latter goes with formal communication via letters, memo, etc. Feedback could also be in written form or in oral form or even both. It could be also in form of demonstration e.g. body movement, paralanguage, gesture, posture, etc.

At one time or another, people are seen been frustrated as a result of the refusal of another person to give response to their message or letter. Some got so mad that delay in such could result to disciplinary measures or insubordination especially in a formal setting. To lovers, it means life itself. Refusal to communicate one's intentions may mal the whole relationship of a thing. All these explain the importance of feedback in communication.

The following are some of the importance of feedback in communication either in a formal or informal setting:

1. It completes the whole process of communication and makes it continuous.
2. It sustains communication process
3. It makes one know if one is really communication or making sense
4. It is a basis for measuring the effectiveness of communication
5. It is a good basis for planning on what next to be done especially statistical report
6. Communication will be useless without feedback
7. Feedback paves way for new idea generation

These points are few in number. The basis being established here is that feedback is the livewire of communication as communication is the livewire of human existence and interaction. Thus, feedback should be carefully considered before being put forward due to its significance.

The Importance Of Feedback In Communication

Chicken Stir Fry

Stir fry is a great food for a whole variety of reasons, but first of all it is actually really easy to prepare, so even if you are not an amazing cook you will be able to get a great recipe together.

Secondly stir frying food is also really quick- because the food is chopped up into small pieces the actually cooking time is very short- in fact preparing the ingredients is normally the longest part of the process.

\"chicken Curry\"

Although a lot of Chinese food isn't renowned for being amazingly healthy, you can make a healthy stir fry very easily - if you use lots of vegetables and lean meats and you stay away from thick, sweet sources then you can make a really healthy stir fry very easily.

Here is one of my favourite chicken recipes for you to try out at home.

Chicken Stir Fry

2 Plump Chicken Breasts

A splash of soy sauce

Quarter of a pint of chicken stock

A tablespoon of vegetable, palm or olive oil.

Half an onion.

Half a sweet pepper.

First things first, cut all of the ingredients up- the chicken should be cut into chunks approx 1-2 cm in width, and the onion should be diced up finely. The sweet pepper should have the core removed, and be cut into strips.

Place your wok on a medium heat, and add the oil- when it is nice and hot cook the chicken for 8-10 minutes until it is golden brown, stirring so you do not let it burn. Make sure it is cooked throughout.

Take the chicken out and keep it warm, and add the peppers and onions for a few minutes and then add the stock and enough soy sauce to give it some flavour. Cook for another couple of minutes, until the mixture starts to thicken, add the chicken back in and serve with rice or noodles for a delicious meal.

This recipe should serve 2 and can be prepared and cooked easily in under half an hour- as long as you stick to healthy ingredients it makes a great quick and easy meal, especially after a long day at the office. You can also try different chicken stir fry recipe variations- try adding bean sprouts for some more authentic flavour, or maybe a little bit of cayenne pepper if you prefer you food to have a little bit of spice with it- you could also try a chicken and broccoli stir fry.

Using Boneless Chicken Thighs in Crockpot Recipes

Boneless chicken thighs are a great alternative to boneless breast because they still have the same wonderful poultry flavor but they are even more succulent and juicy. They are naturally a bit higher in fat than the breast, which means they are less likely to dry out when you cook them.

Crockpot cooking tends to keep meat juicy anyway because this is a moist cooking method but a lot of people prefer the flavor of thighs to breast. You can use skin-on or skinless thighs.

\"crockpot Chicken\"

The skinless ones do better in a slow cooker because fatty meat and slow cooking do not combine very well. This applies to beef and other meats too. Boneless chicken thighs can be combined with lots of other ingredients to make delicious slow cooker recipes. Fresh vegetables like onions, garlic, tomatoes, carrots, and zucchini are great with chicken and all kinds of sauces can be used, including creamy sauces, tomato-based ones, and even spicy international ones.

Chicken Romanoff with Noodles

The following recipe, which makes enough to serve four people, uses cayenne pepper to add a touch of spice to the delicious white sauce made from sour cream and cottage cheese. You will need a three or four quart size slow cooker to make this.

The cottage cheese gives this recipe a creamy, cheesy flavor and texture without using high fat ingredients like heavy cream. The sour cream fortifies the creaminess without adding quite so many calories as heavy cream would. You can use fresh chicken thighs or thawed ones for this. Make sure they are well thawed though; leave them in the refrigerator for a day before making this recipe to make sure.

If you are planning to be out all day, this is a really fantastic recipe because you just need to add the ingredients to the pot in the morning and you can leave it alone for five or six hours. When you get home, simply add the noodles and peas, and give it another half an hour. This is a one-pot meal because it contains meat, vegetables, noodles and everything else you need to make it rich and satisfying. It is a great dinner for the whole family.

What you will need:

  • 20 oz boneless, skinless chicken thighs, in 3/4 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 12 oz cottage cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

Shoyu Chicken - The Best Shoyu Chicken Recipe

Shoyu chicken is a classic Japanese dish. Shoyu is quite salty and strong and if you use too much it can overpower the flavor of the dish and toughen whichever meat you are using so take care when using it.

The following recipe is easy to make and the bird is cooked in its skin to give the bird more flavor. Take it off before serving if you like. You can use skinless poultry pieces to make this dish but the skin adds flavor so it is best to use it. This dish might not require many ingredients but it is full-flavored and perfectly balanced in terms of taste. You can use mirin if you do not have sake. Mirin is an Asian cooking wine.

\"chicken Rice\"

What is Shoyu?

This ingredient is a dark brown liquid made from fermented soya beans. The hard-to-digest starches, fats, and soy proteins are converted into simple fatty acids and sugars by means of either an old-fashioned fermentation process or a chemical process. Shoyu is made with wheat and soya beans, unlike tamari, which is made with soya beans only. This ingredient is used in many Japanese recipes and you can get it in the Asian food section of most grocery stores. Keep it for up to a year at room temperature.

Poultry and soy sauce dishes are very popular in various Asian cuisines and most of these cuisines have at least one such dish. Teriyaki marinades often use a lot of shoyu but this recipe uses chicken broth to add another flavor and to dilute it a bit. Boneless chicken is used to make this tasty Japanese recipe and it cooks faster than bone-in chicken.

What you will need:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar or honey
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup shoyu
  • 1 sliver fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sake

How to make it:

Wash the poultry and pat it try. Cut the breasts in half. Add the sake, ginger, honey, shoyu, and broth to a deep skillet and bring the mixture to a simmer. Add the meat and cover the pan. Let it poach for ten minutes, then turn over the pieces and poach the mixture for five more minutes or until the meat is done.

Arrange the chicken on a serving platter and poach the liquid for a few more minutes until it reduces a bit. Take the skin off the bird and pour the liquid over the finished dish. Serve the it garnished with green onions and with some steamed white rice.

What to Do with the Leftover Skin

You can discard the skin if you want to, else you can make a really delicious snack by cutting it into little pieces and frying it in a hot skillet until golden brown. Drain the fried skin on a paper towel and serve it as a garnish or snack. This is a bit like pork rinds but less fatty. It will keep in an airtight container for a day but then it will start to go soggy.

Rescue Your Adwords Campaign Now! Apply These 3 Little Known "Life Saving" Techniques

I won't waste your time. These techniques are for slightly more advanced users. I will go straight to specifics.

Rescue Technique #1

\"chicken Soup\"

Always use keywords matching options. Using broad match, exact phrase match and exact matching will result in different costs, different click through and ultimately different results. Generally, I would recommend setting all 3 matching all options to test and see which works best.

Rescue Technique #2

Research your keywords. Do a thorough research if your audience/customer, competitors, product/content and keywords. Armed with this knowledge select keywords that are most relevant to your product/content with reasonable demand and some competition (not an overly saturated one)

Rescue Technique #3

Use Adwords' adgroups. How do you do this? Take for example, "chicken soup base" and "recipes for chicken broth". These are 2 distinct phrases yet they are referring to the same product. If you group them under the same adgroup and dump all the keywords in, this would reduce click through rates and drive costs up. Instead set up an ad group just for "recipes for chicken broth" and in this group can be other words like "recipes for mango cream broth" and the other group will have words like "vegetable soup base" etc...

Choosing the Right Caterer

When you are planning an event it is very important to find the best in company in food catering. For most people the food is the most important part of an event. It can set the stage for how formal or casual you want the event to be. For instance if your goal is to have a black tie cocktail party you really don't want to offer a BBQ chicken buffet. Your guests will be anticipating your event and type of food you cater is very important. There are a few things you should establish before seeking out a caterer.

The first thing you need to decide is what kind of event is it. Is it a wedding, holiday party, business function or something else? Knowing the kind of function you are having will help you and a caterer decide other important details. Will you have a theme? Is it formal or casual?

\"bbq Chicken\"

You should also have an idea of how many guests you think will attend and the venue you wish to have it at. If you are having it somewhere that doesn't have a kitchen, the caterer you choose needs to be able to prepare the food offsite then deliver it. I advise you to bring your caterer for an onsite tour.

Once you have pinpointed all of the details, then you can start seeking out catering services. Start with your friends. Ask others who they have used in the past and what they have thought. By telling them some details about the event, they may be able to recommend someone based on their previous clients opinions. Go through the phone book or local directory and start calling people. Ask to meet with them to discuss your function and your needs and wants. You can also log on to Google and conduct a search there. You should be able to find a list of caterers in your local area.

You may want a caterer that has many specialty offerings like food for vegetarians or diabetics. Discuss your concerns. If possible, ask for samples. You should be able to taste the foods that you are going to serve to your guests to make sure it is acceptable.

Once you have narrowed it down to a few possible choices, ask for the estimates. Make sure that they include ALL the expenses so they are hiding anything. Then you can make your decision. Your final decision should be based on service, food quality and their ability to meet your requested needs.

Recipes For Pasta Salad

This pasta salad is a great accompaniment to barbecued chicken, steaks or chops. Roasted cherry tomatoes are very juicy and have an intense, smoky-sweet flavor, that is set off perfectly by the peppery taste of fresh rocket.

\"barbecue Chicken\"

Serves 4

225 g / 8 oz / 2 cups dried chifferini or pipe
450 g / 1lb ripe baby Italian plum tomatoes, halved lengthways
75 ml / 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, cut into thin slivers
30 ml / 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 pieces sun-dried tomato in olive oil, drained and chopped
A large pinch of sugar, to taste
1 handful rocket, about 65 g / 2½ oz
Salt and ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas 5. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large pan of salted boiling water according to the instructions on the packet.

Arrange the halved tomatoes cut side up in a roasting tin, drizzle 30 ml / 2 tbsp of the oil over them and sprinkle with the slivers of garlic and salt and pepper. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, turning once.

Put the remaining oil in a large bowl with the vinegar, sun-dried tomatoes, sugar and a little salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to mix. Drain the pasta, add it to the bowl of dressing and toss to combine.

Add the roasted tomatoes to the pasta and mix gently. Before serving, add the rocket, toss lightly and taste for seasoning, adding more if necessary. Serve either at room temperature or chilled.

This salad is packed with vegetables and is ideal for a summer picnic. Use fresh Parmesan from the delicatessen, which is less mature and sold as a table cheese, rather than the hard, mature Parmesan used for grating.

Serves 6

300 g / 11 oz / 2¾ cups dried fusilli
150 g / 5 oz green beans, topped and tailed and cut into 5 cm / 2 in lengths
1 potato, about 150 g / 5 oz, diced
200 g / 7 oz baby tomatoes, hulled and halved
2 spring onions (scallions), finely chopped
90 g / 3½ oz Parmesan cheese, diced or coarsely shaved
6-8 stoned (pitted) black olives, cut into rings
15-30 ml / 1-2 tbsp capers, to taste

For The Dressing
90 ml / 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
15 ml / 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
15 ml / 1 tbsp chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
Salt and ground black pepper

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Drain and rinse under cold running water, then shake to remove as much water as possible. Leave to drain, shaking occasionally.

Cook the beans and diced potato in a pan of salted boiling water for about 5 minutes, or until tender. Drain and leave to cool. To make the dressing, put all the ingredients in a large bowl, season and whisk well to mix.

Add the tomatoes, spring onions, Parmesan, olives and capers to the dressing. Place the pasta, beans and potato in a large bowl and pour over the dressing. Toss well, cover and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Taste for seasoning and serve.

A Technique to Get the Most Out of Fat Burning Diets

I don't believe that there is a clear cut ideal fat burning diet that works
for everyone. I do believe that there are several fat burning diets that are
very effective. What if there was a way to get a head start and drop 15-20
pounds quickly before choosing any of the fat burning diets on the market?

Your Body is Capable of Losing 15-20 Pounds Over a Two
Week Period

Crash dieting when done over a short period of time is very effective. It
isn't something that is recommended over the long term, but it the fastest way
to burn fat over the short term. You can eat very low calories for 14 days or so
before your body adapts and your metabolism slows down. Again...this is just
something that must be done no longer than 14 days.

Crash Dieting is Even More Effective than Cardio Exercise at
Burning Fat

This was a hard one for me to swallow, since I'm an exercise junkie. Let me
explain how this works. If you body burns 2,000 calories a day and you only
ingest 600 calories, you just created a 1,400 calorie deficit. You would have to
jog on a treadmill for 2 1/2 hours to burn the same amount of calories. It is
simply easier to create a large calorie deficit from your diet than it is from
exercise. Note...I am just talking about the short term here, in the long term
cardio is very effective at burning body fat.

A Radical and Simple Crash Diet to Follow Before Your Fat Burning

1) You only allow yourself to ingest 600-800 calories each day for two

2) Make sure and take multivitamins during this time

3) Avoid fat and sugars

4) Eat about 100-150 Grams of Protein

5) Drink as much Green Tea and Coffee as you want

6) Drink plenty of water

Burn More Fat in Two Weeks Than Most People Do All

I normally do this every year, right around the middle of May. I keep
myself around 8% body fat most of the year, but this allows me to get
super-ripped for summer. I usually eat nothing but a skinless chicken breast in
the morning and one more for lunch. When I get hungry throughout the day, I'll
consume a large amount of Green Tea. For dinner I will chop up a bit of cabbage
and chicken and mix with chicken broth to make a soup (chicken
broth is very low calorie and tastes great). I also add cilantro,
jalapenos, onions, and celery to this soup. This is all I eat for two weeks.
It isn't fancy, but I'm telling you...your body will visually get leaner each
and every day
. It is very rewarding to see such fast results!

5 Quick and Easy Ways to Cook With Your Crockpot

With the help of a crockpot, you can put in minimal effort to create a thrifty and delicious meal for the whole family. The best crockpot recipes are hardly recipes at all; simply throw in as little as two ingredients and let them cook away while you are at work or attending to other responsibilities. These five quick and easy ideas are the most popular crockpot entrees. With as few as two-or-three ingredients, these ideas are economical but the slow-cooked meals will still taste impressive.

Three Ingredient Crockpot Soup

\"crockpot Chicken\"

Some of the best crockpot recipes only have three ingredients! Soups are a great example of three ingredient crockpot recipes. Why buy canned tomato soup when you can make your own in the crockpot? Simply take a pound or two of fresh chopped tomatoes, 1 chopped onion and combine with a pint of chicken or vegetable stock. Simmer for 2-3 hours on low heat. Then puree with a hand blender or blend in batches. You can leave out the onion and/or add fresh chopped basil while cooking. If you like a creamy tomato soup, simply stir in some milk before serving. For more three ingredient crockpot recipes, give French Onion soup a try.

Whole Crockpot Chicken

Slow-cooking chicken in the crockpot with most crockpot chicken recipes has the added benefit of creating delicious, homemade chicken broth. Anyone who makes broth will tell you that store-bought broth just cannot compare to homemade. You can use the chicken for a number of crockpot chicken recipes, while freezing the broth in 1 cup batches for future use. To cook chicken and make broth, Cut a 3 ½ lb. chicken into pieces (including giblets) and cover with water in crockpot (about 4-5 cups). Add celery, garlic, onion, carrot, and fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper and cook on low overnight or for 10-12 hours. Skim fat off the top of the broth, remove chicken and separate broth into 1 cup batches.

Crockpot Pulled Pork

Pulled pork is a classic dish for picnics and family dinners. With the help of the crockpot, you can make easily make a large amount of meat to serve on burger buns or rolls. For the easiest pulled pork crockpot recipe, simply combine two cups of your favorite BBQ sauce and 4 pounds of pork butt in your crockpot. Make sure meat is coated on all sides, cover and cook on high for 5 ½ hours.

Crockpot White Chicken Chili

White chili, made with chicken instead of beef, is a delicious, healthy and economical dish to make in the crockpot. For the cheapest crockpot chili, use dry beans as they are perfectly suited to slow-simmering in the crockpot. Cover a pound of northern beans and chopped onion with chicken broth and simmer in the crockpot for 3 hours on low heat. Once soft, add chicken, chopped vegetables and herbs and simmer for another hour.

Heart Crockpot Beef Stew

Heart crockpot beef stew is another easy way to feed the family with minimal effort and great taste. Simply cover a pound of stew beef and chopped vegetables (carrot, onion and potato) with beef broth (water and beef bouillon cubes) and cook on low for 6-8 hours. You can also add garlic and/or herbs such as bay leaves, thyme, or rosemary. Experiment with what works best for your favorite hearty crockpot beef stew.
